NNPC Total National Merit Scholarship Award

NNPC Total national merit scholarship award for undergraduate students:- The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria (TUCN) are now taking applications for their 2021/2022 Merit Scholarship award from eligible registered FULL-TIME undergraduate students. 

The deadline to apply for the NNPC/Total scholarship is December 11, 2021.

NNPC Total Scholarship for Undergraduates

Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria (TUCN) and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC):

Total Exploration & Production Nigeria Limited (Total E&P Nig Ltd) and Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), in collaboration with its venture partners, provide scholarships to meritorious Nigerian students enrolled in the country's higher institutions.

The initiative aims to promote academic achievement and the development of high-quality manpower in the country. 

TOTAL's dedication to the educational development of Nigerian students is demonstrated in a variety of ways. It's part of NNPC/extensive TOTAL's Corporate Social Responsibility program.

Over the years, our scholarship program has shown to be a success. The deadline is 2021/2022, and a web platform has been set up to accept applications from eligible Nigerian undergraduates.


Benefits of the NNPC/Total Scholarship

Beneficiaries of the National Merit Scholarships Scheme will get 150,000 per student per academic year.

Total Scholarship/NNPC Eligibility

  1. Be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a recognized Nigerian university.
  2. At the time of application, you must be a qualified 100 or 200 level student.
  3. Proof of SSCE or Equivalent Certificate is required.
  4. Provide confirmation of your UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations) score.
  5. Show a copy of the university's admission letter as well as your matriculation number.
  6. Provide evidence of an A-level or equivalent certificate (for direct entry students)
Import points to note:

  1. Students having a UTME score of less than 200 are not eligible to apply.
  2. Students with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of less than 2.50 on a 5-point scale, or equivalent 300-level students and above, are not eligible to apply.
  3. Those who have already received similar honors from the oil industry are not eligible to apply.

How to Apply for the NNPC Total National Merit Scholarship Award:

  1. Information about yourself: Fill in your full name, birth date, and permanent home address. Please provide a current passport photo.
  2. Fill out your contact information, including your email address and phone number. Use just a current email address and cell phone number.
  3. Enter the details for your state and municipal government of origin. A certificate or evidence of origin from your local government or state must be uploaded.
  4. Information about the university: Choose your university, course, and academic year. Your JAMB/University admission letter will be required to be uploaded.
  5. Input your JAMB or CPGA result information. You must upload your JAMB statement of result as well as your university CPGA. Your JAMB score is sufficient for year two medical students. 
  6. Application Review: Examine your application to confirm that all fields have been filled out accurately. Please upload all of the following documents:
  7. Certificate of Origin or Recent Passport Photograph
  8. JAMB/University Admission Letter 1st Year Result displaying CGPA from the Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE) UTME
  9. Conclusion: Attest that the information provided is correct. Accept the terms of the agreement. The on-screen message will confirm that you have finished the application successfully. You will also receive an email confirming this.
